My rendition of some special comic characters that I grew up with. It's probably scandalous to deviate away from their original designs as much as I did, but just think of this as my personal tribute!
From left to right and top to bottom: Dennis the Menace, Ivy the Terrible, Minnie the Minx, Pansy Potter, Roger the Dodger and Billy Whizz.
The British comic industry is slowly dwindling away which is just heartbreaking; so if you live in the UK, do try your best to buy a copy of the Beano and the Dandy whenever you can. You'll find that that they're just as good as ever!
Tsk, kids today and their millennium items and their card games and their loud music and their hula hoops and their hopscotch and their dungarees and their lollipops and their Sony PlayStations and their voice-activated light switches and their leather pants and their artificial insemination and their Blu-Ray discs...

Well given most of the Beano characters have changed look several times over the last 60 years, I don't think it matters too much. Plus a fresh look never hurts (most of the time...).
Minnie looks a lot cuter then she normally does, she did have a face like a bag of spanners from the comics I read back in the 70s and 80s. Roger looks like a boy band member, but is not a bad thing, would help his dodges in high school . Although Ivy does look rather evil in a "I am going to put you in a lot of pain" type way...
VERY impressive! I heard Dennis isn't allowed to use a slingshot anymore, ugh. Because all of us who've grown up with the menace over the years are complete thugs, aren't we? Bah. Still I love your style.
uhihhiuhffff THIS MADE MY DAY! I still read the beano (since I have a little brother and nick it from him when he's finished XD) and your designs are lovely, your style is awesome!

Thanks so much, it means a lot!
Still I love your style.
Here's to Menaces everywhere!
