    Yay! Stamps!

After much deliberation, I have become a subscriber on deviantART! Coincidentally I subscribed just a few hours shy of the date I originally created my account last year. Maybe it's a celestial sign, or more likely it's the result of year-long unconscious brainwashing on deviant art's part. Regardless of the cause, I now have the ability to collect stamps! Hurrah! Out of all the benefits of subscribing, stamp collecting is by far the most important.

Even though I've floated around for a year, I still feel very new to deviantART. I don't know many people here and my gallery is very small. Many aspects of the website still confuse me. For instance, when categorising a deviation you're given the choice between traditional art and digital art. My normal flow of work involves drawing on paper, scanning it and colouring it on my computer. Technically it's both. So, is my artwork traditional art that has been digitally enhanced, or is it digital art that uses traditional art as it's foundation? Ack! I wonder if the authors of literature also have to distinguish between traditional writing and digital writing? I wouldn't know, I can't write to save my life!

Anyway, hopefully you'll be seeing more activity from me. Unfortunately I work full time and don't get as much free time as I would like, so I'm not exactly in a position to do commissions or the like. Yet, if you have any requests; there shouldn't be any harm in asking!
